Cat will hide from you in the fogged areas of the home location,

and will run away until there are no more fog left.

You don't have to chase the cat to move forward in the game!
It's just an extra quest to motivate player clean up his home location.

Most of the game progress and story is contained within expeditions and Paul's Quests :)
